Abstract: To improve all staff's fire awareness, enhance staff's ability of self-protection and make everyone master certain fire fighting skills, on November 9th, the "National Fire Safety Day", Guangdong Innovative Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. held a fire drill activity.
On November 9th, it was the 30th "National Fire Safety Day". In order to improve all staff's fire awareness and ensure that all staff can correctly master the use of fire extinguishing equipment and the skills of putting out a fire, on that day, according to our company actual needs, the safety supervision group combined with each department to organize an actual fire drill activity at 9 o' clock in the morning on the broad channel in front of the factory warehouse. The main content of the activity was practical training of firefighting equipment.
On the day of activity, all staff listened to instructions and explanations carefully and participated in the practice actively, improving the fire safety skills of all staff truly and effectively. This activity came to a successful ending.
In fact, there is a wide range and variety of raw materials and products in chemical enterprises. And some of them even belong to flammable, explosive and toxic substances. Once a fire occurs, the consequences cannot be underestimated, bringing a serious threat to the safety of enterprise personnel, property and public environment. Hence, it is particularly important to strengthen the fire-fighting consciousness of all staff in chemical enterprises and improve their fire-fighting first-aid skills.

The National Fire Safety Day in China is on November 9th. The number of the 11th month and 9th date is just same as the fire alarm number "119". Furthermore, before and after this day, weather is dry and it is the fire season. All parts of the country are working hard to carry out winter fire prevention work. So in order to increase national awareness of fire safety and make "119" go deeper in people's hearts, Ministry of Public Security initiated the Fire Safety Day in 1992 and set November 9th as the national Fire Protection Awareness Day.
