Water-repellent

It is to use water-proofing finishing agent to process fabrics, which is to reduce the surface tension of fiber, so that water drops cannot wet the surface.

Application: raincoat and travel bag, etc.

Effect: Easy to handle. Cheap price. Good durability. Processed fabrics can keep its breathability still. Mainly applied in cotton and bart fiber fabrics, as well as silk and synthetic fibers. The water-repellent finishing effect of the fabric is also related to the structure of fabric.

Oil-repellent

It is to use oil-proofing finishing agent to process fabrics, which will form a oil-repellent surface on the fiber.

Application: high-grade raincoat and special garments, etc.

Effect: After finished, the oil-repellent surface tension of fabric is lower than various kinds of oil. The oil will be beaded on the fabric but not penetrate into the fabric easily, so as to achieve oil-proofing effect. Fabric processed by oil-proofing finishing agent also has water-repellent effect and good breathability.

 

Anti-static

It is to improve the hydrophilicity of fiber surface to prevent static electricity accumulating on the fibers.

Reason of static electricity: Fibers, yarns or fabrics will produce static electricity due to friction during processing or use.

Effect: Can improve the moisture absorption of fiber surface and decrease the surface specific resistance to reduce electrostatic phenomenon of fabrics.

Soil-releasing

It is to make the dirt on the surface of fabric easy to be removed by general washing method and the washed off dirt will not return back.

Effect: It will reduce the surface tension between the fiber and water, increase the hydrophilicity of the fiber surface and improve the anti-static performance of fabric to make fabric comfortable for wearing, impart fabric soft handle and decrease the tear strength of fabric.
