The spotlight of the global textile industry will once again turn to Dhaka, Bangladesh this September. From September 10–13, 2025, the 48th Dye+Chem Bangladesh International Expo will take place at the Bangabandhu Bangladesh–China Friendship Exhibition Center (BCFEC). As the only international exhibition in Bangladesh dedicated to dyestuffs and textile chemicals, the event is expected to welcome over 1,200 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and attract thousands of professional visitors from around the world.
Large-Scale Event with Concurrent Exhibitions
The four-day exhibition will cover 20,000 square meters of show space, presenting the latest advancements in dyes, textile auxiliaries, finishing chemicals, and related raw materials. Running alongside Dye+Chem will be the TEXTECH Bangladesh International Expo and the Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show (DIFS), creating a complete sourcing platform for the textile value chain — from raw materials and chemicals to machinery and finished goods.
Bangladesh: A Key Player in Global Apparel Manufacturing
Bangladesh ranks as the second-largest garment exporter in the world, with over 6,000 garment and dyeing factories employing more than 6.2 million workers. The country produces virtually no dyes or organic pigments domestically, relying heavily on imports, which presents significant opportunities for international suppliers. In recent years, Bangladesh has been advancing environmental compliance and upgrading production processes, fueling strong demand for green chemicals, energy-saving auxiliaries, and sustainable dyeing technologies.
